Generally if you installed Cyrillic fonts in your system Netscape Communicator must catch up that fonts and you can view pages in Cyrillic encoding by choosing one of Cyrillic encoding presets in "View" => "Sharacter Set".
But if that does not work, try next.
- Make sure that Cyrillic fonts already installed in your Windows 3.X or Windows 95.
- Open Netscape Communicator.
- Open Preferences by choosing "Edit" => "Preferences..." menu item.
- If "Appearance" item not expanded? expand it by clicking once in "+" sign near word "Appearance"
- Click on word "Fonts"
- In right side of Preferences dialog window select Variable Width Font and Fixed Width Font you want for each Encoding. Note. In Preferences dialog window you see only "Cyrillic" item in Encoding combo box. But while you choosing Encoding in "View" => "Sharacter Set" menu item you can see three Cyrillic character sets: Cyrillic KOI8-R, Cyrillic(ISO-8859-5) and Cyrillic (Windows-1251). Netscape Communicator automaticaly making convertation from that standarts. For setting needed font if you don't want any convertation you must choose that font for User-Defined Encoding in In Preferences dialog window.
- Click "OK" button.
- Select needed character set by choosing "View" => "Character Set" => ...
